March 2019 Chairman’s Notes
NEW MEMBERS
We would like to welcome all our new members to the SCRC! We are pleased to have you as part of the SCRC family and are looking forward working together to promote the conservative ideals that we all stand for!
RENEWING MEMBERSHIP THIS MEETING
I know that it feels like we just did this, but it has actually been year! Dues and new membership forms of the SCRC are due at the beginning of the meeting this month. You can pay online, or bring your dues to the meeting on Monday in the form of cash or check.
According to the SCRC bylaws, if you paid after January, but before March, then you only have to pay $20. In addition, the Bylaws state that if payment is not received at the beginning of the meeting, then you will be not able to vote until said payment is received. However, this does not remove you as a member. Rather, once payment is received, your right to vote is automatically restored.
I have also attached a new membership form to the email. If you prefer (or forget your form) we will have blank ones at the meeting for you to complete. Unfortunately, even if you just completed the form, you will have to complete a new one to reflect the 2019-2020 membership year.
If anyone has any questions at all, please feel free to contact me either my email or phone at (312) 213-0318.
