Virginia’s 7th Congressional District Debate

The University of Mary Washington is hosting a public debate for Virginia’s 7th Congressional District on Tuesday, September 15 at 7pm. The location is Dodd Auditorium, 1301 College Ave, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.

The candidates include Republican candidate Doug Ollivant, Independent candidate, Alaha Ahrar, and Libertarian candidate, Taner Lopez. Absent from the debate will be the current 7th Congressional District Congressman, Eugene Vindman.

The event is free, open to the public, and no tickets are required. Audience members will be allowed to submit questions for consideration before the start of the event.

The debate is hosted by the Mary Washington Student Government Association and co-sponsored by the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce, the League of Women Voters of Fredericksburg, and the Free Lance-Star.
