Next Monday, November 10, 6pm social hour, meeting starts at 7pm. We will have an “appetizer potluck.”
We will be discussing this election behind us and I will be offering a limited-to-members public comments, 2 min per person.

The social hour and first part of our meeting will be public, but we will then enter into an executive session and ask non-members to leave at that point.

This is a very interesting and informative article that hits home, detailing the “politics of personality” and the conflicting agendas of pragmatism vs. idealism within a local committee.

Next Monday, October 13, 6pm social hour, meeting starts at 7pm. We will map out the last few weeks of this campaign season!

We are counting down the days and Winsome Sears and company are surging!

There is a general tone and positive outlook to this year’s statewide campaign and we hope to do our part to bring it to Victory and that victory trickles down into the local supervisor and school board. We are working hard at early voting and setting up for election day. Early voting is a logistical heavy lift early morning and evening and we can certainly use more help, especially if you have a large vehicle or truck.

We are going to try a twist to our 6-7 pm social hour this month!

My primary initiative during February’s meeting will be establishing Precinct Captains.  

We will shortly reflect on the past year, look forward to the upcoming state and local elections and hear from candidates.  We are also expecting a visit from the Republican Party of Virginia Chairman Richard Anderson.

This month’s meeting will be somewhat long. I hope to end it by 2100 but there are critical issues we must hit on and vote on to start 2025 out right and to be the most effective county committee that we can for our candidates this year.  Just setting expectations.
